Native missions is a concept that is new to many people.  By native missions we mean a Christian pastor, missionary or church worker who is telling his or her own people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This is also called indigenous missions. 

Although this is a novel idea to many people, it is actually the way missions is commonly done in much of the world.  This is a method of reaching people for Christ that costs less, is more effective, and faces fewer cultural and social barriers.
