She Story
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19
Dear Partners, Greetings from your family in Vellore. It is very hard to say or measure how much God blessed in 2011through this ministry. From my depth of my heart I would like to bring out my gratitude for the great contribution of your prayer, moral and financial support to reach for the unreached through this ministry. I am so encouraged and strengthen of your fellowship to work for the kingdom of God. We the children and family of REHOBOTH wish you all,
Happy New Year!
In Christ Malliga
I received this email from one of our partners in India. Her ministry captured my heart when she was here in the states for a short visit. God uses her to feed, clothe and school children who have been orphaned because of the AIDS epidemic. She is small in stature but mighty in faith as she ministers in her community to rescue children and be a lighthouse to a lost and hopeless generation.
One of her ministries is to the widows in her community. If it is learned that a women is sick with HIV or AIDS, she will be made an outcast. She will become homeless. Malliga fights for the rights of these women as she runs an orphanage called Rehoboth Home. Her ministry is called Women’s Hand’s for Education and Empowerment. International Women’s Ministries has to be an advocate for this ministry of empowerment! Malliga’s story is one of a true heroin. If you are touched by this story and compelled to do something you may give online http://www.advancingnativemissions.com/contribute and mark you gift to 610-WHE or reference Rehoboth home for Children.
