Year Round Fun Project for Everyone

Hygiene packs are a great need in nearly all the areas where we send containers and shipments.  These packs will be a blessing to children all over the world.  In 2011 we sent over 1000 hygiene packs to the Middle East.  Feel free to share this project with your church, friends, family, or anyone!  If you want to see the list with details on how to prepare one click here....

Raising Funds Made Fun!

Another idea for meeting a project need: A co-worker of mine shared that her local church gave small piggy banks to the members of the church (this could also be broken down to the children's ministry or just the adults).  Each person takes their pig home and attempts to weekly fill it up in any creative way imaginable.  Every week, on a given day, the pigs are brought to the church and emptied into a larger container.  The class that raises the most money receives a pizza party or some other form of award for their hard work.  The contest can be set for a certain number of weeks and the funds can be given to missions as a church or...

Baking for Missions

What's a girl to do for her 14th birthday? How about host a bake sale to raise money for a ministry in India? That's what our young friend Micah did. Check it out in her own words: "I wanted to do a bake sale to benefit orphans because God has put helping orphans on my heart.  So we decided to do one to raise money for the children in the Rehoboth Children’s Home in India.  Some people from our church were doing a yard sale and we were joining in, so we decided to do the bake sale then, too. "We spent the last two days before the bake sale cooking.  Together with two other families from church we made about fifteen different kinds of baked goods.  We just asked for...

Easy and Fun Items to Collect Through November

Please check out the container list for the Middle East.  This list is an easy one to collect for and also a fun list for churches, schools, individuals, small groups, and families to get involved.  Also, for you quilters we have a great need for quilts.  The picture illustrates a sample quilt.  They can be made in two different sizes (preschool: approximately 39" x 35" and elementary: approximately 60" x 48").  Please share the list with your friends!  We would like to ship the beginning of December.  We also want to purchase 800 frisbees for this container.  Cost per frisbee $1.00.  Any donation towards frisbees would be a blessing. Download the...
