Today is the first day of Advent, the season of expectation leading up to the celebration of Christ's birth at Christmas. Today we begin a journey together. We will consider some of the symbols and images of the holiday season. We will think about the true meaning of Advent and Christmas. And we will hopefully offer some tips and guidelines on making the holidays less stressful, more spiritual and of greater benefit in your walk with Christ.
