Testimony from a Translator

The following letter is from a college student from Croatia. Robert was a translator for the CTM team. (He taught himself to speak English by watching American movies.) This letter has been edited for clarity:     Shalom Brother Paul. To write everything we did together when you were here will be difficult for me because it was a long time ago. I think the best thing for me was that we were doing construction jobs and none of the workers had an argument. There was no tension among the workers. Working in the heat of the summer was not easy, but for me, that was the most spiritual thing that we did.   Then there were the evenings that we...

Beyond the Construction

The following endorsement is from a man who saw Construction Team Ministries in action, and further proof that CTM is more than just a jobsite:   Seedtime and Harvest Ministries in San Pedro, Mexico and Stephen Tolman have become indispensable Kingdom allies for our ministry over the past year as we have been seeking God's answers to the violent drug wars sweeping away Mexico's youth.     During my recent trip, I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Paul Robbins and his CTM team as they came alongside Stephen's ministry to build their church, Templo Cristiano Libertad (Liberty Christian Temple).  I have encountered various construction ministries over the years,...

Thank You from a Ministry Partner

The following letter was sent to us in response to the ongoing effort of CTM in England. Our renovation project there began with the sole purpose of serving  the staff of the most effective ministry in the world today amongst Iranian believers:   ANM has sent multiple containers and construction teams to Elam Ministries in London, England.  Some may ask if the replacement of windows, painting projects, drainage repairs, constructing closets, etc. in a 180 year old building is strategic.     Elam's goal is to reach Iranians for Jesus Christ.  But in the past there were challenges - for example, a building so cold that people had to wear coats while...

Testimony from Partner in Mexico

The following article is copied by the permission of our ministry partner, Seedtime and  Harvest, in San Pedro, Mexico. This past November 2010,  Construction Teams Ministries sent a team there to help the brethren with their church construction.God is clearly on the move in their midst.Saturday, January 15, 2011TestimonyAbout three months ago a woman came to the church. She had just gone through a traumatic experience. This woman and her husband had had a terrible fight and her husband stabbed her in the throat, cutting her vocal chords and leaving her mute. When she was in the hospital, she says that she saw a man come into her room and tell her, "Something good is about to happen...

Testimonials from our Ministry Partners

This following letter is our first response to a request we sent out to our indigenous partners. We asked them to share with our readers the impact that Construction Team Ministries has made in their community. This one comes from Open Doors, a former Soviet youth camp that we have been helping to convert into a Christian camp for all age children, as well as a conference center for Christian leaders in the surrounding region. It is presented unedited from our Ukrainian leader in Chenegrov.Dear Paul,I thank you for the letter and for your desire to give glory to the Lord together with us. СТМ begun the cooperation with “Open doors” camp in the year 2005. During six years...

Construction

The Construction Teams Ministry (CTM)  is the construction arm of Advancing Native Missions. Our  Teams are comprised of believers from across the country who share the common desire to put their faith into action. You don’t have to be a construction worker or have experience in the building trades to be an effective volunteer.  Many women and young adults have joined us and become valuable additions to our work.  By the grace of God we accomplish much physically, but the emphasis of our journey is to bring spiritual encouragement. That may occur through preaching or teaching opportunities in local churches and house meetings or within youth camps. Most often though, our ministry flows as we live and work together. Construction Teams Ministry began in August 2006.  Our first trip was to the Ukraine.  Since then we have undertaken projects in the Philippines, Croatia, Mexico, and England. Additional nations are now under consideration. If you have a willing heart and able hands, you can make a difference through ANM’s Construction Teams Ministry.
