There is a tune dancing in my head: “It’s impossible—for a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage. It’s impossible.” Yes, it is impossible. Today’s lesson concerns the impossible. Many people do not realize that Christmas does not officially begin until Christmas Day. The season before that day is called Advent. This is a period of anticipating Christmas, looking forward to the birth of the Savior. To help celebrate the Advent season, we are offering to all our readers a daily devotional. Beginning with the first Sunday of Advent, and then every day from then until Christmas Eve there will be another devotional thought.
