Revival is taking place in Honduras as a result of faithful efforts by evangelical churches in the region. One such church is Gerizim Christian Center. The leadership felt called not only to evangelize their own city (Tegucigalpa, the capital) but also the rest of the country. To accomplish this task they formed an evangelistic outreach ministry called Association of Christian Ministries (ADMC) in 1980. The Lord blessed their commitment: as a result of their labors and the grace of God, their own congregation grew from 250 to 3,000 and nearly 100 churches have been planted throughout the country reaching out to more than 15,000 people. They have also developed medical and dental clinics, men’s and women’s ministries, and radio programs. They also work with international Christian agencies in helping to meet the needs of poor children who attend their churches.
