The Invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord

The Invitation: Life.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"Gospel" is just an older word for "good news," the good news that Jesus Christ, God's only Son, came to die for the sins (wrong actions and desires) of the people of the world, and the good news that he was raised from the dead, signaling his complete victory over sin and death.

Because of this, every person can now know the freedom of living a life for Christ, instead of the slavery of living a life under the ravaging effects of sin. But we each must make a choice: either to accept Christ's work for us, or to reject it.

There is no middle ground.

The Bible, God's written Word, puts it this way:
"God treats everyone alike. He accepts people only because they have faith in Jesus Christ. All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins."

-Romans 3:22-24, CEV

You can accept Christ right now by simply talking to him, telling him you want to turn away from doing wrong and being a slave to sin, and want to follow him in the freedom of a new life. Your words don't have to be fancy, just from the heart. God will hear and understand.

If you've made that choice now, we would love to hear from you and send you some practical helps to keep living for Christ each day. Or if you would like to learn more about this new life in Christ, contact us today!
