Country: Peru

Ministry Name: Segadores Missionary Movement

Project Description: The valley of the Anacayali River contains eleven small Asheninka native villages. Since there are no roads in the valley, all travel is done by river. The ministry of Segadores has placed a missionary couple in this region with a second to follow. The desire is to reach the other Asheninka communities along the river. Traveling by paddled canoe can take anywhere from several hours to several days to reach some of these villages but a motor will make for more effective travel.
