WFN: Warehouse for the Nations
What is WFN?
Through our Warehouse for the Nations (WFN), Advancing Native Missions (ANM) coordinates relief efforts to assist native missionaries around the world. Our objectives are as follows:
- Identify needs of native ministries that are reaching the unreached
- Acquire the items needed for relief (computers, paper, food, clothing, medical supplies, etc.)
- Coordinate shipment of items to the field (cargo container, air shipment, or personal delivery)
Why Warehouse for the Nations?
- Many native ministries survive on shoestring budgets, barely able to cover the salaries of their pastors and evangelists. As a result, many face chronic needs in their offices and Bible training centers (e.g., computer equipment, fax machines, paper for printing, food for Bible students, vehicles, etc.).
- Because most native ministries work among the poorest of the world's poor, they can always use a variety of goods-medical supplies, clothing, food, etc.-to better minister to their communities.
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, cyclones, volcano eruptions) occur frequently in the Third World and devastate millions of lives every year. Native ministries are often in the best position to assist the victims, as they are already in the community and can provide long-term follow-up care and counseling. But they lack the financial resources to purchase large quantities of relief supplies.
Therefore, the Lord has raised up WFN to help supply relief goods to native ministries, to help them further the work of global evangelization in their communities.
How can individuals or churches participate in
WFN?
There are three ways that individuals or churches can assist WFN:
1. Donating needed goods.
2. Sponsoring the shipment of goods to their destination.
3. Helping load goods onto cargo containers.
Please view the list of upcoming WFN projects and needs.
